Pygarrichas albogularis (King)

Length: 16 cms.

Head, back of the neck and back, dark brown. Lower back, crissums and tail reddish brown. Throat, neck and breast white. Abdomen with white feathers bordered with dark brown. White in the mid-line. Dark brown wings with coverts and secondaries with reddish brown border tail feathers without barbs in the tips making a spiny elongation. Beak slightly curved downward.
