Dark-bellied cinclodes

Cinclodes patagonicus chilensis (Lesson)

Length: 21 – 22 cms.

Head, down to below the eyes dark reddish brown with wide white brow to the nape. Wing coverts upper and lower back and tail dark reddish brown. Throat and upper chest whitish with some reddish brown stripes, changing to a lighter color in the back and the rest of the breast and abdomen. Side tail feathers with cinnamon tip. Dark beak, horny feet.
