Diuca diuca diuca (Molina)

Length: 17 – 18 cms.

Head, neck, back and breast slate grey. White throat. Lower breast and abdomen white. Cinnamon tones in the abdomen and the undertail coverts. Flight feathers dark grey bordered with slate grey with grey coverts. Tail feathers dark grey. Dark beak and feet. In the females and immature the grey is replaced in parts by cinnamon coloration.
