Brown head with small black rays. Brown neck with black spots. Throat lighter. Mantle and lower back with dark brown feathers edged with light brown. Breast and abdomen light brown with small black spots. Whitish vent. Brown wings with black speculum bordered with light brown. Tapered tail. Yellow beak with base and tip black. Grey feet.
